Volleyball Begins

Another season has begun...Crazy how quickly time flies.

I love the girls on the team this year and that makes a season in which we are struggling very, very bearable. They make me smile every single day.

Uinta Mountains

I'd never been to the Uinta's before.
I had read and about them in one of my favorite books, Return to Red Castle.
I always wanted to go...
And now I'm definitely going back. What a view...

KD Bar Ranch

My parents and I took a trip to visit Jake at the ranch he has been working at this past weekend. He has been busy loping horses all day, every day. He has his own little bunk house and Rowdy has been keeping him company. It was great to be able to spend some time with him and in his element...

The Barn--which happens to be bigger & worth 5x as much as my house in Ogden.

Ragnar Relay--Wasatch Back

Just when I thought I was finished running...
The Wasatch Back

But our team, Project Runway Far, was so much fun.
And I might be biased (of course I am), but Van 1 rocked. And rolled. And laughed. And ate.
But never, ever slept.

Van 1 at the Starting Line

My last leg

Our van is finished!

Project Runway Far is complete.

Bring on 2011.

Half Marathon

So I did it!! And I loved it!

After training all spring (somewhat consistently), I finished my very first half marathon. And I am so glad that I did...I NEVER in my life would've thought that this girl would actually run 13 miles willingly. When I reached the final 5k, I actually got tears in my eyes because it was such a huge accomplishment for me.
Congratulations to Brock on his first (and I'm pretty sure FINAL) marathon as well...he finished the last part of the race with Kaden on his shoulders!

55...and still alive

Happy birthday Dad!

It's all this yard work that is keeping you alive
at the ripe old age of 55.
It's also keeping mom from "driving right on by".
Love you!
